How Much Does Signage Cost
in Nairobi?

2026 Price Guide Nairobi · June 2026 · 8 min read

One of the most common questions we get at FlexRad is: "How much will my signage cost?"

It's a fair question — and one that's frustratingly hard to answer from a Google search, because most signage companies in Nairobi don't publish their prices. You end up calling around, waiting for quotes, and comparing apples to oranges.

This guide changes that. We've laid out realistic 2026 price ranges for the most common types of signage and printing in Nairobi, drawn directly from our shop. Whether you're a small business owner ordering your first banner or a facilities manager planning a full office fit-out, you'll find something useful here.

Quick note on pricing: Most signage is priced by size, material, and quantity. The ranges below cover the most common configurations. For a precise quote on your specific project, contact us here or WhatsApp us on +254 751 997 079.

3D sign prices in Nairobi

3D signs — also called dimensional letters or built-up letters — are the gold standard for business frontage and reception areas. They create depth and shadow that flat-printed signs simply can't replicate.

Pricing depends on size (letter height and overall width), material (acrylic, stainless steel, aluminium, or PVC foam), finish (plain, brushed, painted, or chrome), and lighting (halo-lit, face-lit, or no lighting).

What affects signage pricing?

If you've ever gotten wildly different quotes from different signage companies, here's why:

  • Material quality. There's a big difference between 3mm and 5mm acrylic, between economy PVC flex and premium banner material. Cheaper quotes often mean cheaper materials that fade, warp, or corrode faster in Nairobi's climate.
  • Print resolution and colour accuracy. A high-resolution UV print on quality substrate looks sharp for years. A low-resolution print on budget vinyl starts fading within months, especially outdoors.
  • Finishing and installation. Grommets, lamination, welding seams, anti-UV coating, standoff mounting hardware — these add cost but also add life and professionalism to the finished product.
  • Design services. At FlexRad we can work from your provided artwork (AI, PDF, or high-res PNG) or handle design for you — ask when you enquire.
  • Turnaround time. Standard turnaround for most items is 2–5 working days. Rush jobs are possible for urgent orders.

How to get the best value for your budget

  • Order in batches where possible. Per-unit cost drops significantly when you order 10 banners instead of 2.
  • Provide print-ready artwork. An AI or PDF file at the correct dimensions saves design fees and reduces errors.
  • Think about longevity. A cheap banner may last 6 months outdoors. A premium material print can last 2–3 years. Work out the cost per year.
  • Ask about package deals. If you need a reception sign, door signs, and a roll-up banner, bundling the order often results in a better total price.
  • Get a site visit for structural work. For 3D signs, lightboxes, or anything bolted to a wall or ceiling, a site visit avoids costly mistakes.
