Quick rule: choose lit if you trade after 6 pm, face a busy road or mall corridor, or want to be seen from a distance. Skip lighting if the wall is well-lit indoors or there’s no power point nearby.

How long does it take to make and install a 3D sign?
Most 3D signs take 3–7 working days from quote approval to installation, depending on size, material and lighting. Small indoor signs can be ready in 2–3 working days. We confirm your timeline when we issue the quote.
Which material is best for an outdoor 3D sign in Nairobi?
Stainless steel and channelium channel letters are the best choices outdoors because they resist rust, UV, dust and rain. Acrylic works well on covered or shaded frontages. PVC foam is best kept indoors.
What is the difference between face-lit and halo-lit letters?
Face-lit letters have LEDs shining through a translucent face, so the letter itself glows and reads boldly at night. Halo-lit letters have LEDs behind them that light the wall, creating a soft outline that looks premium and corporate.
Do you install 3D signs outside Nairobi?
Yes. We fabricate in Nairobi and install or deliver anywhere in Kenya. Upcountry installations are scheduled as a dedicated trip, and we quote transport and installation separately based on your location.
What logo file do I need to send?
A vector file — AI, EPS or PDF — gives the cleanest result at any size. A high-resolution PNG also works. If you only have a photo or low-quality image, we can redraw your logo before fabrication for a small fee.
Do I need a Nairobi County permit for an outdoor sign?
Most outdoor business signs in Nairobi need county approval under the Nairobi County outdoor signage rules. Requirements depend on size, location and lighting. Flexrad can advise you on what your sign needs before installation.
How long do 3D signs and their LEDs last?
A well-made 3D sign lasts 5–10 years or more. Stainless steel can last decades, while PVC foam may need repainting after 3–5 years. The LED modules in our illuminated signs are rated for 50,000+ hours.
Can you make a 3D version of a multi-colour logo?
Yes. We paint individual letters and logo parts in different colours or apply colour vinyl to match your brand. Share Pantone or RAL codes for an exact match. We confirm any changes needed for fabrication with you before production.
Do you repair or maintain existing signs?
